Fundraising for Church project
We are very fortune to have amongst us parishioners who are passionate about our Syro-Malabar identity, living and proclaiming the Word of God. The young and youthful are always buzzing with innovative ideas to explore and execute fundraising projects for the new church building. Even before the site was purchased, the congregation started voluntary donation since 2014, by small acts such as regular standing orders, word-of-mouth donations from well-wishers, crowdfunding appeals via GoFundMe and numerous internal events.
So far we have managed to pay off the cost of the land purchase and initial costs approximating to £900K. This in itself is a miracle made possible by the hard work and forethought of each and every member of our amazing parish through these means.

Internal fundraising activities for fundraising includes
1. Tuck shop (snacks every Sundays)
2. Take away meal parcels
3. Coin box for Catechesis student
4. Mission league, Youth movement and Women’s forum activities
External fundraising activities include
1. Charity dinner nights.
2. Raffle ticket sales: March 2023-July 2023.
3. Sales of 30,000 tickets with prize money of £ 25,000 or a car. Target £600,000
4. Sponsor a brick.
5. Activity based fundraising.
6. Voluntary contributions and donations of well wishers
